Guys before you read this article on how to quit a job you hate. I want to make one thing very clear, this article is not about making quick money or getting rich over night. If you're in that illusion, my friend this article is not for you. As there's no short-cut to success and there's no push button that can make you rich instantly over night. I hope it's clear.
But if you really want to learn how to quit a job by changing the way you look at life and work this article will best suit your need.
This article will change your mindset about money, how it’s earned and how much it's worth going after.
What is it that makes you feel that way? What is that niggling feeling that makes you feel you hate your job? This is a BIG ISSUE and has to be answered correctly.
To be honest, I have researched many articles prior to writing this article and I found that out of every 100 people 75 to 80 are just not satisfied with their job and feel like quitting it. The only problem is they do not have the desired option or rather they don't have the resources for following their passion and creating that desired option. And this is the only reason why they are forced not to quit their job.
The significant thing to notice here is why people like you and me want to quit their jobs? And what is the ideal job or career that everyone of us would love to pursue.... Let's take a deeper look into this unsolved mystery.
So what is the Ideal Job that can make you and me happy? I have described my feelings of an ideal job in 6 crucial points below......Continue Below.
The Ideal Definition Of a Perfect Job
1. Your Job should be challenging enough to be motivating, but restful enough so that you don't feel stressed out.
2. It must be fascinating enough that you are ready for it everyday, without getting bored doing the same thing again and again.
3. It should make you feel happy no matter what situation you're in.
4. The salary that you receive after spending your precious time should pay you well to provide you with the life's needs and wants including your most craziest dreams. But not so well that it pushes you to develop bad habits like gambling, drinking and wasting money just because you have too much to spend.
5. You should automatically feel within you that your job is an important part of your life. At the same time you should have the liberty to spend enough time with your family and friends.
6. You should have enough autonomy at work so that you feel that your decisions are significant and appreciated, yet not enough ‘you’re on your own here, kiddo’ so that you feel isolated, stagnant, or scared.
Honestly speaking this for me is the perfect definition of an ideal job. Maybe I missed few points, but more or less this is what I feel and Believe is the job that we all would prefer to do - Right?
But the bad news is, it’s a quite delicate balance. A desired set of expectations and unfortunately most of us DON’T HAVE even half of the conditions satisfied out of the 6 mentioned above.........Right?
As far as I am concerned very few people are lucky enough to have the ideal job or else most of us about 99 percent, work is something like staring at the clock to turn 7 and rush home quickly, as if you were locked in prison and now released after 10 years.
The point is if you don't love your work, you'll always be frustrated and unhappy. And being constantly frustrated and unhappy brings more frustration into your life, just like thinking positive, brings positivity and prosperity in life.
Remember whatever you feel and believe in your mind is eventually mirrored in the external world. The sad part is If you’re frustrated at work, your frustration will only make you more poorer. It's next to impossible to make money out of something you don't enjoy doing.
I will share with you my own personal story to tell you exactly what I mean, how it affects you negatively when you do something that you actually don't love doing.
When I was 22 in 2008, I was approached by a friend to work in ‘network marketing’ company. You might also be knowing about few of them, I don't want to reveal the names here.
Before you continue to read I want to be clear that I don't have any issues with any 'Network Marketing' company. In this example I have expressed my personal belief and it has got nothing to do with others.
So, continuing with my story. It was seriously an enticing offer and I just couldn't say No. It's because the amount of money you could make by adding new members was quite astonishing and it really grabbed my attention - The friend who introduced me to this offer was already getting handsome chunk out of it, from doing nothing more than making a few phone-calls and arranging few meetings with new customers every week.
One thing to note here is these were people who push other peoples at social gatherings, marriage functions to get into this "Networking Business". But I use to feel awkward talking about this to people I knew. Even when I tried few times, It felt like a sales pitch as if I am desperately trying to convince someone to get into something even when they are not interested and passionate about it.
It was quite frustrating believe me guys to provoke someone who's busy in his life and suddenly you come from nowhere and ask them to get involve in something they just don't know, which looks promising on paper but in reality it's not. In fact very few people would love to do it wholeheartedly and it's not something that each one of us would pursue.
You can guess what happened next, can’t you? The same thing that happened with most of you, if you have ever done "Network Marketing" I fell flat on my face and all my dreams shattered like a broken glass.
It was really annoying for me to ‘become one of those people’ who corners people at parties and social gatherings to ‘make a new member'.
It's because I don't have that quality of pursuing people anywhere and everywhere. My true personality rebelled against my conscious wishes and it was something that was not tuning in with my destiny and personality.
End result - I decided to quit this job or whatever you may call it.
So what do you learned from my story.
The moral of the story is - If your heart and mind is not into something, no matter how ‘lucrative and tempting’ the opportunity is, you’re never going to excel.
I believe in this beautiful world where there are plenty of resources and opportunities for all of us than why stick at something that end up bruising you the wrong way?
What I want to say is before wasting your time getting into something just because you found it lucrative, why not spend your precious time finding a way of spending your life the way you want.
Sorry to say, but most of the times we get into a job and after doing it for sometime we start regretting. The question is why you went into it. Why you wasted your beautiful, valuable, IRRETRIEVABLE life – doing something that make you cringe, sulk, or spend each Sunday in a growing frenzy of dread? Why make choices that will make you regret 8 or 10 years later.
Again the moral of the story is ‘you can’t get rich unless you do what you love’ I will discuss about it later in the article, how and when to quit your job.
In fact, I am yet to hear about someone who’s made huge money doing what they hate. Well yes, if sometimes the rub of the green goes your way, you might make enough by GAMBLING or PLAYING LOTTO.
But's that something very rare so don't even think about getting rich by doing something that is unethical, you'll only end up losing your precious time and money. Better ignore, it's not for you. I will show you, how to quit your job gracefully and make real money that will satisfy your soul and mind.
We have one life and in this one life we have to fulfill all our dreams and desires. But the fact is we waste most of our precious time working in the office, where in reality we never want to go even in the worst of our dreams.
We waste 10 to 12 hrs each day, remember these are irreplaceable hours of our lives, we will never ever get this precious hrs back again and sadly, with each passing day we are getting one step closer to our death grave. Sometimes it really feels like we are committing a crime. isn't it?
The universe where we live in is filled with positive and negative energy which we actually can't see with naked eye. But we can definitely feel it. I call it "LIFE ENERGY" I'll explain what it is, whatever LIFE ENERGY resides in your heart, while at work is something that will stay with you for your entire life. And if I am not wrong most of you are filled with negative life energy at work.
Your job is an integral part of your life and while working in office you dispense your time i.e. "LIFE ENERGY" and this energy you spend is irrecoverable.
So the question is whatever energy you're spending is it contributing to your "LIFE ENERGY" in return? Don't worry guys I know your answers. It takes away even that little energy you have left at the end of the working day and that's the reason why you keep staring at the clock to turn 7 P.M.............Right?
Constantly starring at the clock is so depressing, because it conveys, you're waiting for the day to be over. Hold on guys many of you reading this article might be thinking that it's not true - I work honestly for my institution.
Let me clear your myth my friend working honestly is different thing and working with passion is entirely different thing. When you work honestly, you still watch the clock to turn 7, but when you work passionately you'll never watch the clock and when you work with passion you naturally manifest wealth and prosperity in life.
I want to ask you a question - Are you a clock-watcher who’s not willing to do anything to change his or her circumstances – i.e. living the life of your dreams by doing the work that satisfies your heart and soul – If YES, then you’re not just waiting for the day to end.
What you’re actually doing is watching your own LIFE walking slowly towards YOUR DEATH GRAVE.
When you love your work, the salary you earn feels sweet, but when you don’t love what you do, that salary becomes like ‘medicine’ – the ‘cure’ you have to take for the ‘disease’ you’ve got of wasting all your time doing the job you never ever felt like doing.
And that’s not what your salary is for, if all your hard earned salary is used in making you feel ‘less bad’, then it’s practically USELESS.
Your salary is meant to enhance the quality of your life – not to lessen the sufferings that’s being done from how you earned it in the first place.
I know you may be wondering this article is about How To Quit a Job And Do What You Love. But I am yet to talk about the TITLE of this article - To be honest It's a tough question to answer, still I will try to....
Though you're reading this article here, but I am telling you, even if you're highly inspired after reading this you won't be able to quit your job. Your circumstances won't allow you, the responsibilities you have on your shoulders will keep reminding you - NO NO you can't do this, how can you even think about quitting your job. I totally understand and respect your decision.
Still If you're brave enough to quit your job, I will suggest you few amazing brainstorming ideas to help you. After completing this steps if you're clear in your mind about your goals and aspirations. You're on the path of making your dreams into reality.
Mark Zuckerberg CEO of Facebook Says - The risks you take today.... are lessons for tomorrow and I believe the biggest risk in life is not taking any risk. I will take it one step further take risk, but calculated.
Remember the moment you become absolutely sure in your mind! YES this is the life I want and my present job cannot give me this life, that's the starting point of manifestation in your life.
Trying to figure out when to quit your job?
Trying to figure out why to quit the job?
Trying to figure out what to do after quitting the job?
Most important of all, how to figure out what I love doing? After all that's the whole point, you'll enjoy your work only when you'll do something you love and only then you will happy in your life. Right?
Trust me guys most people HATE the above questions. BUT TO DIG OUT YOUR PASSION this questions are MANDATORY and not OPTIONAL.
Take a pencil and a notebook, sit down in a quite place where no one distracts you. Now write 8 to 10 things you admire doing the most, things that fills your heart with joy. Things that are completely in tune with you.
Important Note: Write only the things that make you feel positive and no negative things. Say for instance: You love partying, smoking and drinking that doesn't mean you should add them in your list. I hope you're getting my point, you are here to get rid of all the negative energy in your life and discover the true calling and true purpose of your life.
The point here is to figure out what makes YOU feel joyful, rewarded, filled up. Your goal is to understand that you're passionate about doing this things and doing this things will help you to reach your dream goal.
These Four Things Will Set Your Feet On the Path to a Fulfilling Life
1. Develop habit of living your life with integrity, dedication and determination. If you say you’re going to quit smoking in the next one year just do it. It might take 2 extra months, but the significant point is you did it.
If you disagree with someone, don’t smile and nod as if you agree. Feel free to express your views. Let honesty make an appearance in your life, and begin to give voice to who you TRULY are. Start small and work up.
You may wonder what it has to do with quitting your job. But believe me guys, it has lot to do this little change will help you grow big in the journey of your life.
2. The list of the things that you have prepared above are not to impress others. It's the list that will shape up your life. It's the list that ‘fills your heart with great joy’. These things will convey that you are someone who is worth taking good care of, and make you feel joyful, relaxed, and fulfilled. This are things that you love doing and when you do things you love, your self esteem and happiness increases naturally. Because I believe "where happiness goes, abundance flows"
3. Learn to be yourself, Start to form desire of feeling good about yourself, feeling content in your routine life. But what you need to do to develop this habit is something you need to figure out on your own.
It's because we are all different in characteristics, behavior and thinking, that is why our aspirations and desires will also be different from one another. It's how you act and approach the things you love will determine where your life is heading.
You have to know how it feels to live life at your best self because the values and virtues that are required to that state of being include self-discipline, self-awareness, and conscious living; and you’ll require all three of those things in order to choose, and excel at, a job you love.
4. This one is vital so read it carefully ‘feeling satisfied’ and ‘doing what’s easiest’ are two totally different things. And believe me the results too will be different. You know what everyone in the world would have wrote their success story, if doing easy things was the only way to success.
In fact, doing easy things are the biggest loggerheads, I have learned from my own life experiences. Sheer discipline is an significant aspect of finding, and doing, what you love; the path that will fulfill you – that of becoming your best self, which requires consist effort, but the rewards are more than worth it.)
In the end! Having right knowledge about your own character is the greatest knowledge that you will ever need to get on the right path. Why? Because your chances to satisfy your unique internal drive truly depends on your ability to satisfy your potential, which in turn determines the quality of your life.
My Final Note Before You Seriously Think About How To Quit a Job ( I know You won't it's not so easy)
I happen to meet many people who are just not happy with their present job and they desperately want to try something new to live their dream life and improve their dreadful life situation. But this for me is like having false hope.
In the real world dreams don't come true with hopes. You need to brainstorm with the right mindset to invent the right path. And that right path has to give you with the right pleasure or else again you will fall in the same vicious circle.
And if you're really serious about quitting, be 100 percent certain in your mind that whatever you're doing is correct or else you'll spoil everything. Better think about the people who are associated with you, before doing anything rash in excitement.
Quitting does not mean typing your resignation and than wondering what's next. Don't ever quit your job, unless you've a long term plan. Understanding when to quit your job is far more important than just quitting blindly without any planning, vision and goal in mind. I hope you're getting my point.
But if you perform the above exercise and tasks that I have suggested trust me guys your life will become much easier even in your current job.
Before I end this article I would love to share with you a very beautiful example On........
The Significance Of Having Positive Attitude in Life
Once there was a man who use to sell balloons at fair for his living. He had balloons of colors red, white, purple, yellow, blue, and green.
Whenever sales were down, he would release a helium-filled balloon into the air and when the children saw it go up, they all wanted to buy one.
They would come up to him, buy a balloon, and his sales would go up again. He continued this process all day. One day, he felt someone tugging at his jacket.
He turned around and saw a little boy who asked, "If you release a black balloon, would that also fly?" touched by the boy's curiosity, the man replied with empathy, "Son, it is not the color of the balloon, it is what is inside that makes it go up.
The same rule applies in our lives. It is what is inside that counts. The thing inside of us that makes us go up is our attitude. And showing the right attitude is critical to your success in life.
This is the reason why I mentioned above quitting is not important, what important is what's your attitude just like the above example "The man released one helium-filled balloon for his sale to go up.
Do you have some ideas for your life to go up and grow big, It's something that you have to find out on your own.
Life is not about day dreaming thinking about the future - "what if I had this and that, What if I had all the luxuries of the world". The point is are you doing something to experience that luxuries in reality.
Guys its very easy to day dream about success. But the bitter truth is "The real world world where we live in is not so kind that it will hand success so easily to some undeserving people like you and me. In order to write the story of your success you desperately want, you first have to write the story of your failure".
"Failure is unavoidable in life, it's actually within you how you embrace failure. If you embrace it positively, it will act as an inspiration for you and if you embrace it negatively, it will be responsible for your downfall. It's you who has to decide what you want to be victor or victim".
Last but not the least quitting a job is secondary, the primary thing is if you really want to make quality change in your life circumstances. I want to hand you something -
Caution it's not for free, it will cost little, but serve you in the long run. One more thing there's nothing for free in life, for everything in life you have to pay something.
If I am recommending you something it's only for your good and this is your chance, you will make or break but this is the time understand that. I won't talk much now, I urge you to WATCH THIS FREE VIDEO HERE AND WATCH IT TILL THE END and if you find it useful take action. GOD BLESS YOU HAVE MY BEST WISHES IN LIFE.
Don't forget to share this article with other stressful people in the world around you. Make a change in someone else's life by doing the right things and eventually you'll land on the right path of the life journey.
