It is basically not a disease but it originates due to continuous stress and anxiety in the body.  There might be many other factors responsible but stress is also one of the major factors that contribute to it. During stress bodily behavior is not under your control and due to the attack sometimes you tend to breathe faster and inhale less oxygen at the same time exhaling more carbon dioxide. That disturbs the balance of the body leading to low carbon dioxide level and narrowing of the blood vessels which means less supply of blood to the brain resulting in the feeling of light headed and dizziness. This is one major factor by which stress can cause dizziness.

What you can do is close your eyes as the more you keep the eyes open the more you will find yourself in the clutches of dizziness. Keeping your eyes closed and relaxing for sometime will hopefully make you feel relaxed.

It is important to understand that dizziness can be controlled only if you control the stress level in the body and mind. Practicing deep breathing techniques, eating healthy food, proper sleep, regular exercise helps to reduce stress in the body which automatically reduces the symptom of dizziness. Try to treat your body as healthy as possible which will help you fight dizziness.
